What a noble gesture! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Also known as Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton) requested that any well-wishers who wanted to give them Wedding gifts should instead make donations to several charities including one inner-city charity, named IntoUniversity. IntoUniversity helps children to reach their potential and, according to the National Foundation for Educational Research, has a 'transformational impact' on young people's lives, something the Imafidon family strives to achieve within inner-city communities.

Obama on Education: Our response

President Obama is right to increase the government spending on education. Remember that education is the only vehicle for developing the minds, character and skills of the next generation. Education surpasses any economic doom, and gloom. Therefore, we support his “State of the Union” call for increased investment in research and education. These are momentous times in the history of humanity. The world needs well developed minds for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
